Melissa appears on television as a lifestyle contributor for NBC’s Today Show and Weekend Today in New York, LXTV, Better.TV, FoxNews, Fox’s Good Day New York and ABC News Now, where she dishes her gift guides and product reviews, hosts how-to videos, and shares on and off the red carpet celebrity interviews. Melissa has also been a guest on Sirius XM’s “Fun, Fearless, Female” channel, Cosmo Radio.
Melissa is a curator for OpenSky, an expert for TheGift.com and a Loehmann’s Style Expert Blogger. She is also a frequent contributor to several other publications including People StyleWatch and Hamptons Magazine.
In a former life, Melissa was an Associate Director in Marketing at Bear Stearns, where she planned special events and conferences for ten years.
An avid health enthusiast, Melissa enjoys playing tennis, horseback riding, biking, skiing and yoga. She is also active with Food Allergy Initiative. She currently lives in New York City with her understanding husband, two amazing children and their shih tzu, Cinnamon.

Michael Meyers is currently the CEO & CIO of Arcoda Capital Management. Having spent 20 years in healthcare, he was managing partner and healthcare portfolio manager with Trivium Capital Management; partner and portfolio manager with GoldenTree Asset Management; and managing director and founding partner of Global Biomedical Partners. He has also served on the board of directors of five healthcare companies. Michael holds an M.P.H. in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University and an A.B. in Biology from Brandeis University.

Brad worked for AOL in business affairs and development, co-authoring 3 patents related to search, geo-tagging, and personalization. He then helped raise $40 million in venture funding for a contextual online advertising network. Prior to his business career, Brad served five years in the United States Army, retiring as a Captain. He resides in New York City with his wife, Angie, and two children.
Reid Chase, Advisory Board
Reid Chase is an entrepreneur specializing in the development of companies focused on branded and private label consumer products for the last 20 years. After a career on Wall Street, Reid founded private-label candy, cookie and snack manufacturer, Cody-Kramer Imports, which was sold when sales reached $20 million. After the sale of his company, Reid became President and a member of the Board of Directors of Really Cool Foods, a $25 million manufacturer of fresh prepared meals. In December of 2011, Reid coordinated the sale of the company to a Private Equity group. Additionally, Reid has invested in various food related businesses and serves on the boards of these companies as well. Most recently, Reid launched his newest business, Empire Custom Candy, a food and candy importer and distributor which focuses on the food service segment of the hospitality industry.
Sean Cross, Advisory Board
Sean brings over 20 years of experience in general management, technology, sales, business development and strategic marketing to Progress Partners. He is a proven business and technology strategist, marketer and fund-raiser with over 10 years of experience working with early stage companies in capital raising, M&A, marketing, branding and advertising; product development; and business and partnership development. Through his experience in working with start-ups, top companies and business leaders, Sean brings an extensive network of senior-level contacts, particularly in the technology, media, private equity and venture communities.
Sean most recently served as a Senior Partner at MediaLink LLC, as the Head of the Private Equity, Restructuring & Investment Advisory Practice, providing critical counsel and strategic direction focused broadly on the Media, Entertainment, Information and Technology industries for clients such as Cerberus Capital, Blackstone Group, Credit Suisse and The Oppenheimer Funds.
Prior to joining MediaLink, Mr. Cross served as the Executive Vice President and Operations Officer for iAmplify, where he led the company through substantial growth and three rounds of funding, before exit. Prior to iAmplify, he led the strategic technical initiatives for the sales, marketing, editorial, publicity and international divisions for Newscorp’s HarperCollins Publishers. In addition, he drove technical distribution initiatives for clients such as Scholastic Books, including the Harry Potter book series. Mr. Cross began his career running a consulting company in Los Angeles, owned and managed restaurants in New York, then returned to strategic consulting in technology with Sanwa Bank/UBJ and INET/Instinet (Reuter’s).
