Fitness Guru Tanya Becker: Get On-Demand Access to Physique 57

TB: Basic oats are my favorite.  They keep me feeling energized and full during busy days packed with back-to-back classes and meetings.

Basic Oats

Makes 1 Serving

Basic Oats make the perfect, easy breakfast and can be enjoyed with a variety of healthy, flavorful toppings.

Ingredients:

¾ cup unsweetened almond milk

½ cup rolled oats

1 teaspoon butter

Pinch sea salt

Directions:

Place all the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a near boil (steaming and bubbly, not a roaring boil – that would damage the almond milk and make it separate).  Remove form the heat, cover with a lid and let stand for 5 minutes.

Spice up your oats with one or more of the following:

1 tablespoon raisins

1 teaspoon grade B maple syrup or raw honey

1 tablespoon raw nuts

A sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg, or cloves

¼ cup unsweetened applesauce

½ banana, sliced

½ cup berries

1 teaspoon fruit-only jam

Prior to creating the Physique 57 technique, Tanya Becker trained and taught at The Lotte Berk Method in New York City where she helped update, refine and perfect the legendary fitness technique.
