My Favorite Fine Jewelry Designers

Catherine Beth Necklace, BUY NOW, $800
Hot emerging jewelry designers Catherine Schwartz and Beth Banker turned what began as a personal craft project into a thriving jewelry business. Both Cathy and Beth attribute the success of their line to the unique ethnic style and the juxtaposition of mixing high-end jewels like diamonds with earthy leather cords and white turquoise beads. This rocker chic necklace is one of my favorites from the collection and features a chunky silver chain with chic charms of a skull, a crescent moon, and a diamond African tusk. Celebrity fans of this up-and-coming jewelry line include Molly Simms and Uma Thurman.

Brodie was previously the Global Director of Communications for world-renowned jeweler Harry Winston where she styled the jewelry for Oscar winners Gwyneth Paltrow and Halle Berry among other celebrities including Jennifer Lopez. Her Green Agate earrings are an amazing statement piece–you get a lot of look and quality for the price. The details on these are gorgeous and I love that they are the perfect shade of rich green! Wear during the day to the office or ladies lunch and then straight to cocktails. You will see me wearing them on the red carpet for my upcoming celeb interviews!

Kelly Gerber Personalized Dog Tags, BUY NOW, $500 and up
Born out of a passion for and celebration of art, fashion, and photography, Gerber’s designs are known for their timeless classics that reflect love and sentimentality. Kelly Gerber’s designs have cultivated a famous following of celeb moms like Cindy Crawford, Brooke Shields, and Faith Hill. One of my favorite pieces from her collection are the personalized dog tag necklaces–these special fine pieces of jewelry are fully customizable and can include a photo of a loved one. Charm necklaces make great personalized gifts and it’s nice to take part in the design process–choose your chain, charms, tag, monogram and photo! Kelly is also a pleasure to work with and will help you design your piece. In addition to her charm jewels, she has a great collection of chic and edgy pieces including some great-looking wide cuff bracelets. I wear mine all the time.

Nancy Miller for Jewelbilee Chain Tassel Necklace, BUY NOW, $295 – $495
Growing up in the New York area gave this Manhattan based designer Nancy Miller an introduction to the New York Fashion scene at a young age. After an exciting and lengthy career in the industry, Miller founded Jewelbilee in 2005, a fine jewelry design house specializing in both fashion and traditional pieces. I am loving her chain tassel necklaces (so on trend now) with their sparkle balls and freshwater pearls. It is a rock and roll update to a classic style and the chunky chains make it unique and versatile. These fab necklaces work day to night—they look great with a classic tee, blazer and jeans as well as a cocktail dress. This is a perfect piece to add and update your accessories collection.

Ariel Gordon Mini Rose Cut Stacking Rings, BUY NOW, $375
A former red carpet events publicist, Ariel Gordon Maffei is based in LA and handcrafts her pieces. She uses materials sourced from reputable vendors and conflict free stones and learned the art of metalsmithing and stone setting at the Revere Academy. It’s always a great look to mix, match, layer and stack your jewelry so these Ariel Gordon stacking rings are a perfect fit! The 14 karat gold beauties have a 1pt diamond and rose cut stone in your choice of Turquoise, Rhodolite Garnet, or Peruvian Opal. Ariel’s inspiration is from blue skies and travel, and her pieces are meant to be worn from the Farmer’s Market to dinner parties, and everywhere in between.
