New Designer Denim Jeans Label: Decades Denim
By Katrina Caspelich
Would Kate Moss wear these jeans? That’s the hope of up-and-coming denim clothing designer Cameron Silver and his business partner, Angelique Soave. A frequent shopper, Angelique envisioned clothing basics she wanted but could never find. She frequently complained to Cameron, a creative consultant for luxury brands, that the clothing market was lacking a line of wardrobe essentials. Enter Decades Denim, the luxury denim brand they’ve started in Los Angeles.
They met at Cameron’s L.A. vintage boutique, Decades, where Angelique was a regular customer. Their shared love of vintage couture led to a friendship, and then to a business partnership. Today, their designer denim line has a look that manages to be both timeless and on trend, catering to women with a real sense of personal style. Thus, the Kate Moss fantasy!
Why the World Needs Another Designer Jeans Brand
Does Kate really have room for another denim brand in her closet? Decades Denim is not just another pair of designer jeans. Cameron and Angelique know that many women begin styling their oh-so-important daily fashion statement by sliding into a great pair of jeans. Decades Denim offers the feel of luxury, with attention to cut and finish more commonly seen on jeans that fetch twice the price.
Shimmy into Decades Denim Designer Jeans from a New Site
Earlier this month, the fashion twosome launched their own e-commerce site, selling their 11-style debut collection, priced from $99 to $129. Cameron loves the Marlene, a shiny black jean with satin-trim pockets whose front hem is cut shorter to reveal a sexy pair of heels. Angelique’s favorite pair? The Angelique, of course! Up next—new lines, including dresses, jackets, shorts, and silk pants. This designer duo wants their customers to be able to style a total Decades look. Timeless meets on trend? That’s a fashion love-child we could easily adopt!
