The 90’s have held their place in fashion trends once again, this time most strongly seen at shows like 3.1 Phillip Lim and DKNY. The models donned paint-splattered pants, light-wash denim jackets, plaid pants, and even overalls, all made modern through execution and exquisite tailoring. The common 90’s theme of mixing, matching, and weaving was also strong at Marc by Marc Jacobs (albeit with a slightly 1982 lean), where graphic plaids, prints, checks, and stripes competed for attention on drop-waist dresses, high-waisted pants, and cotton scarves.
