TREND: Flirty Florals

Florals are no longer really a trend but a given – the question for each spring is how are designers going to interpret it? Many chose this year to do them quirky and digital, like Rebecca Minkoff’s digital overlay on a white sleeveless motorcycle jacket. Rebecca Taylor went the romantic, early 90’s watercolor route, paired with soft, faded denims, navy blue, and leather. Sexiest of all, the print showed up as a gilded birdcage mural first look out at Thakoon – with the shape of the birdcage highlighting the shape of the woman.
