TREND: Low Pony

SEEN AT:

Alexander Wang (Guido Palau for Redken), Reem Acra (Rutger Van der Heider for Renee Furterer), Michael Kors (OrlandoPita for PHYTO and T3), Timo Weiland (Joseph DiMaggio and Lara Polko from L’oreal)

INSPIRATION:

The inspiration for an easy, low pony came from two functional places: the desire to highlight both the sporty separates as seen at Michael Kors and Alexander Wang, as well as the embellished, Eastern-inspired outfits seen at shows such as Reem Acra.

GET THE LOOK:

At Michael Kors, Orlando Pita used a flatiron and comb to pullback the pin straight hair into a flat barrette. From there, to create a “shield of shine” he used T3 Control Hairspray before blow drying for a high gloss finish.
