NYFW Spring 2013 Makeup Trends
By Lauren Finney and Mary Kate Hoban
TREND: Extreme Liners

SEEN AT:
Marc Jacobs (Francois Nars for NARS Cosmetics), Erickson Beamon (Tina Turnbow for NYX Cosmetics), BCBG (Val Garland for Temptu), Erin Fetherston (Lyne Desnoyers for MAC)
INSPIRATION:
These dramatic eyes were inspired by the modern girl. Kate Moss served as a muse for BCBG, with eyes reflecting a smudged, lived-in look, while Marc Jacobs drew inspiration from ‘60s girl Edie Sedgwick.
GET THE LOOK:
Francois Nars, Founder and Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics, drew an elongated line across the crease of the lids to create the “typical Marc girl.” He used Mambo Eyeliner Pencil. Complete the dramatic look with Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto.
