STK Rocks the Lobster
I want a fun summer meal at a fabulous place. What’s new in town?
|Nothing says summer like lobster, but you don’t have to head to Maine to enjoy it. Instead, treat yourself to Lobster Baked Sunday, a three-course prix-fixe meal at STK in the heart of the Meatpacking District.
We loved the petite lobster roll with tangy homemade potato chips to start. The main event—the 1½-pound lobster steamed and bathed in butter—was served with roasted corn and sweet potato biscuits. To top it off, we tucked into warm apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream and caramel. We left with our sweet tooth smiling.
This is one lobster bake where you won’t feel the sand underfoot. STK is a stylish space with low lighting and wood and leather accents. To compliment the meal, which runs $69.99 per person, we recommend the bucket of six mini Coronas, called Coronitas. But there is a full wine list as well as a complete steakhouse menu, in case your dining companions aren’t as crazy about crustaceans as we are.
Special: Mention AskMelissa, and receive a complimentary round of Coronitas with your Lobster Baked Sunday. Until Labor Day.
