These adorable flats are on every yogi’s radar and recently caught the attention and foot of fashionista, socialite and Marie Claire blogger Amanda Hearst.

The Red Daisy Ginger Low-Rise Long athletic pant is a stylish long tight with special side panels engineered with horizontal and vertical stretch that provide light compression throughout your legs. Their double fabric technology contours the body, slimming your silhouette to make your butt and thighs instantly look thinner! They are a total style upgrade and their fabrication gives you a more efficient workout than regular cotton leggings.

4. Alo Uber Cozy Hoodie, BUY NOW, $89
Layering is crucial for staying warm and healthy while working out during the winter months and I love this Alo style. The zip front hoodie is lined with super soft sherpa and is great for an outdoor run or post work-out cover up. Jessica Alba, Eva Mendes and Ellen Pompeo are notorious Alo fans and have been spotted in the activewear while working out and running errands around town.

5. Yogamatic Keep Calm Personalized Yoga Mat, BUY NOW, $89
A great way to practice yoga is atop the motivational mantra to “Keep Calm and Carry On” on Yogamatic’s personalized mat! Did you know this recently popularized slogan originated in 1939 as a way to ensure the people’s awareness that King George VI was adequately defending the country? And although I love this style, Yogamatic will custom make any image into your favorite yoga mat. The personalized gear are favorites of celeb yogis Halle Berry, Kate Bosworth and Molly Sims, whose mat is an adorable picture of her dogs.

6. Anatomie 3/4 Sleeve Henley in Pink, BUY NOW, $89
This 3/4 sleeve Anatomie Henley is one of my favorite tops to wear over a workout tank when going to the gym or exercise class. It is super soft, perfect for layering and has snap-button details for added style. Jennifer Aniston’s yoga teacher, Mandy Ingber loves their stylish and high quality designs.

7. Red Daisy Princess Camisole Tank, BUY NOW, $81
Designed out of the overwhelming need for a sleek and supportive workout bra, Red Daisy specializes in creating sports bras that provide excellent support from inside the bra cups rather than relying on bulky straps. Their comfortable and strong fabrics are made out of patented material from EuroJerseySPA, a specialty Italian mill and have been featured in both national and international publications like Women’s Wear Daily. I love the color of The Princess Camisole Tank, it is feminine and chic with great overall support.

8. Primsport V-Neck in Watercolor, BUY NOW, $72
Notorious for their intricate patterns and stand out designs, Primsport is perfect for spicing up a drab workout wardrobe. In fact, it was born out of three women’s passion (including the wife of Vogue veteran Tom Florio) for fitness and a vision to put the life back into traditional tennis clothing. Their V-Neck in Watercolor design is stylish and a great option for the fitness gal on the go as it looks like a regular shirt when worn with jeans.

9. Lululemon Power Y Tank in Lilac Heathered Coal, BUY NOW, $52
Lululemon’s Power Y Tank is one of many great pieces from the activewear line which has a cult following of everyone from Michelle Obama and Kelly Ripa to Gisele Bundchen and Jennifer Lopez. The body skimming fit ensures that this top won’t ride up, regardless of the intensity of your workout. This sleek activewear looks feminine in lilac and has a built in shelf bra that is lined with COOLMAX technology to wick away sweat. These tops are preshrunk so they run one size small.

10. Things Remembered Stainless Steel Water Bottle, BUY NOW, $25
Water bottles are essential to every fitness enthusiast. They are not only better for the environment, but unlike plastic, the stainless steel bottle makes sure water tastes pure with every sip. This 16 oz. design has a unique flip-top straw and the bottle can be engraved, so you can choose to etch on your favorite motivational mantra!

11. SPIBelt Small Personal Items Belt, BUY NOW, $19.95
The SPIBelt Small Personal Items Belt is a must have for runners! These slim pouches won’t bounce or ride up during the most rigorous of workouts, so it’s no wonder that it has become a favorite of marathon winner Jeanette Wang. They stretch tremendously to fit your phone, iPod and keys, and come in a variety of colors to suit any workout wardrobe. I am loving mine and they sure beat the look of a fanny pack.

20 Ways To Look Hot This Holiday

Sport Shiny Hair

To get an attention-grabbing hairdo, celebrity stylist Mark Townsend says to add a large dollop of Dove’s Body and Lift Mousse ($4.29, Drugstore.com) to damp hair, and blow dry it with a round brush. Divide hair into 3-inch sections and spritz some flexible hold hairspray onto each section before wrapping it around a 2 inch curling iron. Add extra shine by rubbing a small amount of Dove’s Nourishing Oil Leave-in Smoothing cream ($5.59, Drugstore.com) through hair.

Get Legs Mini Skirt Ready

Most women give their razors a long break in the winter and keep their legs covered, but great looking stems are sure to get a second glance. Get smooth skin with the Venus Embrace razor ($10.99, Drugstore.com) and Prtty Peaushun ($36.00, B-glowing.com), a cream with light-reflecting particles that will firm skin and camouflage imperfections.

Simple Summer Hairstyles for All Lengths

Summer is approaching, and Natasha Sunshine, hairstylist and founder of Santa Monica’s Byu-ti Salon, wants to ensure that everyone has an easy summer go-to style no matter the length of your hair! Check out her top three suggestions and look stylish in a cinch this summer.

SHORT HAIR:

In the summer months, fresh is the operative word for hair. Using a light styler with a touch of hold like Pureology’s Colour Stylist Nourishing Nectar Sculpting Gel ($24.98 on Amazon), slick hair back while making a side part to keep the look feminine. To ensure that this style stays modern, make your part a little deeper than usual and use your fingers versus a comb to rake hair back. Let hair dry naturally, then run your fingers through one last time to break up any crunch from product. The result will be a clean yet soft summer style, like Victoria Beckham’s picture above.

MEDIUM LENGTH HAIR:

Go for a natural look by skipping the blow dryer. First, apply your favorite styler. I love Pureology’s Colour Stylist Cuticle Polisher Shine Serum for Colour-Treated Hair ($20 on Amazon) for most hair types. Use a quarter size for thicker hair and a dime size for finer textures, and evenly distribute throughout.

For hair with a wave or curl like Kate Hudson (above), twist two-inch sections away from the face until your whole head has twists. Let air dry, then scrunch any product crunch away for a shiny, naturally wavy look.

For straighter hair, twist each section, then clip the end into a loop with a pin curl clip (you can find these at most drugstores). Let air dry completely or use a diffuser, remove clips and scrunch. You’ll end up with a fun, new textured ‘do.

LONG HAIR:

For a beautiful and easy updo, start with dry hair. Decide where your part looks best, then break the bottom section of hair into three even sections at the nape. Braid each section to the ends and secure with a rubber band. Then, take the three braids and braid them together. Roll that big braid up or under depending which way looks best, and secure with extra-long bobby pins for a classic low chignon like Jessica Alba’s (above). People will be shocked that you created such a beautiful style on your own!

ABOUT NATASHA SUNSHINE: As Founder of Santa Monica’s premier hair boutique, Byu-Ti Salon, Natasha has run her fingers through some of Hollywood’s most notable manes, including that of Ivanka Trump, Molly Sims and Eva Herzigova. Known in the Los Angeles and New York City fashion circles for her keen sense of style and unique approach to hair therapy, Natasha not only created a six-step consulting system for helping her staff identify and meet her client’s needs, she has also developed her own seven different hair care products, to supplement the line of top-notch goodies already in use at her salon. When Natasha is not helping people feel fabulous from the inside out, or making herself camera-ready for a television appearance (most recently, The Rachael Ray Show), she is working as an industry leader and educator for L’Oreal’s exclusive hair care line, Pureology.

A Run/Walk to Remember: The 14th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women

By Colleen Hagerty

I’m sure I’m not alone in saying there are very few things that can get me out before 8 A.M. on a Saturday morning. However, when I heard about the 14th Annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk for Women, I knew I had found something worth waking up early for!

Revlon Run/Walk

The event—which takes place in both New York and California—raises funds and awareness for women’s cancers with a 5k run/walk and regularly boasts some of today’s hottest celebrities as hosts. The star-studded April 30th Run/Walk in New York City did not disappoint, with Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jimmy Fallon, Nate Berkus, and Dr. Mehmet Oz all coming out as early as 7 A.M. to host the event in Times Square. Despite the early hour, both Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba looked enviably flawless as the Revlon Global Brand Ambassadors, with Alba sporting a chic, short hairstyle and baby bump!

A crowd of 20,000 gathered in the closed-off Times Square to watch them take the stage for a pre-run celebration, which included a soulful performance by Grammy-nominated artist Keyshia Cole. Then, after a countdown from Jimmy Fallon and a shower of confetti, the run was off! The crowd was led by Matt Bomer, who was given the honor of driving the Toyota Pace Car in front of the run—a smart choice, as the White Collar heartthrob is undoubtedly used to being chased by women!

Participants could choose to either run or walk from Times Square to Central Park, where there was a promise of swag and treats at the finish line. Having been almost able to keep up with the super-charged Nate Berkus on the run, I rewarded myself at the finish line with a delicious cupcake courtesy of the bakery behind TLC’s D.C. Cupcakes.

Check out the video above to see the stars and the incredible crowd in action—not bad for an early Saturday morning!
