1. J Brand 899 Niko in Bright Royal, $255

Started in 2004 with a vision to create a jean with so perfect a fit it followed the contours of one’s body the brand became an overnight success after begin sold exclusively in LA at Ron Herman’s Melrose Jean Bar. The 899 Niko in bright royal is their new mid-rise skinny and we just love the racing stripe detail—perfect if you want to get in on the colorblock trend!

2. rag & bone Khaki Tuxedo Skinny, $198
One of our favorite pant looks is the tuxedo stripe (it gives the illusion of a thinner leg!). These jeans not only look amazing on but are extremely comfortable and made of cotton, tencel and spandex stretch twill. Über stylish rag & bone was founded in 2002 by Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, both of whom had no formal fashion training— sure fooled us! We are huge fans of the brand and these jeans will certainly make a great addition to your wardrobe!

3. Joe’s Jeans The Skinny in Fiery Red, $158
Joe’s Jeans “The Skinny” comes in 55 fabulous colors— so you can count on them having your favorite shade! But you have to have at least a little natural wave to make it work.

PRODUCTS:

Blowdryer with diffuser

Wide tooth comb

1-inch Iron

Pureology Illuminating Curl Stylist 24 Hour Shaping Lotion ($24 on Ulta.com)

Pureology Colour Stylist Anti-Breakage Twist Shine Texturizer ($20.99 on Sleekhair.com)

Pureology Colour Stylist Strengthening Control Zero Dulling Hairspray ($14.50 on Amazon.com)

HOW TO:

Start with hair fresh out of the shower. Do not dry with blowdryer or towel. Instead, blot the water out.

TIP: Coarse terrycloth towels can disrupt curl patterns. Try a microfiber towel for less frizz! Sleeping on a microfiber pillowcase will also keep curls better.

Section the hair into two or three horseshoe-shaped sections around your head. Starting at the nape of your neck, twist in a small amount of Pureology Colour Stylist Illuminating Curl Stylist 24 Hour Shaping Lotion (maybe a couple pearls per section). Wrap sections around one or two fingers, depending on how much wave you have. Next, diffuse hair with blow-dryer on low to medium force and heat. Do not separate the hair as it dries. Instead, cup the curls in the diffuser, holding the nozzle several inches off the scalp. Dry hair to 90%.

TIP: Over-drying hair is a frizz catastrophe! When in doubt, stop sooner rather than later and let hair air-dry the rest of the way.

Finally, apply a nickel-size amount of Pureology Colour Stylist Anti-Breakage Twist Shine Texturizer and work into hands. Run the defining cream through waves to break up curls and add shine. If needed, use the 1-inch iron by coil-wrapping around the barrel, holding the ends loose to keep the organic feel. This trick is great to polish unruly shorter layers or fringe!

20 Best & Worst Looks At The Grammy’s

Stars made their way down the red carpet for last night’s Grammy Awards. See which looks rocked and which looks hit a sour note.

Best: Taylor Swift
Taylor donned her most mature look on the red carpet, sparkling in a silk Zuhair Murad mermaid gown. “It’s one of my favorite dresses I’ve gotten to wear,” she told Seacrest before the show. “I saw it months ago, and I said ‘We’ve got to save this for the Grammys.'” We can see why!

Worst: Nikki Minaj
Nikki’s goal has to be to appear on every worst dressed list! Her scarlett Versace cape with striking black beading was daring, but that’s the only nicety we’ll give her! With a pope look-alike on her right arm, all we can think is – How sacrilegious can you get? Oh wait, then there was her Grammy performance…

Best: Rihanna
Rihanna’s latest tattoo and recent reports that she went back to Chris Brown had us worried she was headed for a breakdown. If she is, you would never know it by looking at her. She was an absolute knockout in a Giorgio Armani dress she helped design. If this is what going crazy looks like, sign us up!
