She also co-authored the book, The Physique 57 Solution: The Groundbreaking 2-Week Plan for a Lean, Beautiful Body, and launched several award-winning DVDs. We caught up with Tanya to get her fitness and beauty secrets, and to find out how she used her own workout regime to get her body back in shape after having twins!

MM: Can you tell us a little bit about how you developed this signature workout?
TB: I had been working as a master instructor at Lotte Berk for ten years when the studio suddenly closed its doors in 2005. I met Jennifer Maanavi, a longtime Lotte Berk client, who was interested in creating a business and partnership that would enable us to evolve the Lotte Berk Method and introduce a new, refreshed version of our beloved workout and allow us to bring it to a wider audience.
Our shared vision was simple. We wanted to reach as many clients as possible and help them transform into the best version of themselves while also having fun. The result was our signature Physique 57 workout, which blends intervals of cardio, strength training, and stretching to sculpt your arms, thighs, seat, and abs. Innovative choreography, energizing music, personalized coaching, and a motivating class community, are the key ingredients that make this fitness recipe so addictive!
