The Expert on Experts

By Beth Anne Macaluso & ___ Courtney Bannerot ________________________

Samantha Ettus has the best advice on what most would consider the simple things in life.  Author of The Experts’ Guide to 100 Things Everyone Should Know How to Do, Ettus has brilliantly stocked a one-stop shop with the best advice from celebrity experts like Frédéric Fekkai and Bobbi Brown, who weigh in on ordinary tasks and skills. With a BA and MBA from Harvard, Ettus’s path to expert success has been anything but ordinary.

A personality-driven brands consultant, who wrote a syndicated column on celebs and their personal brands, Ettus is the co-creator, co-producer, and host of OBSESSED, her online talk show. “It was bizarre to transition from behind the scenes to on-air talent,” says Ettus. But with nearly 5,000 Twitter followers, she’s a hit. Ettus makes appearances on other shows too, including The Today Show, The Early Show, The O’Reilly Factor, Inside Edition, and Your World with Neil Cavuto.

Not surprisingly, she is often mistaken for an expert!  Witness the time she appeared on Fox TV in Dallas for a segment about ironing shirts. Trouble was, she had no idea you couldn’t leave a hot iron on a shirt—she’d never ironed in her life. Ettus is an expert at balancing—she’s got a booming

career, sits on several boards, and spends plenty of time with her husband and their two, soon to be three, young children.  Today, she has four titles to her name, including her recent The Experts’ Guide to Doing Things Faster with advice from over 100 experts, including Sir Richard Branson. _________
