A few weeks ago, I visited the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention in Harlem, where David Lauren and Dr. Harold P. Freeman spoke about the Pink Pony’s mission—to address the needs of the medically underserved, providing them with access to quality cancer care, including early detection and treatment. I was so inspired by what they were saying, and I saw a preview of this year’s fabulous Pink Pony collection of products, which will be sold this month to raise money for this important cause. Today, I am participating in the Ralph Lauren 100 Bloggers Unite Against Cancer Campaign. I am excited to be a part of this important event for the Pink Pony’s 10th Anniversary. Ralph Lauren and Ralph Lauren Polo have been dedicated to fighting breast cancer for over 20 years. This year, Pink Pony will have an online auction hosted by Charity Buzz, as well as a text-to-donate campaign:
To bid, go to CharityBuzz.com, October 1–21, 2010—100% of the auction’s proceeds will go to the Pink Pony Fund.
Text PINKPONY to 501501 to automatically donate $10.
